1996-07-13 EMx Exhibits SUPPLEMENT TO PROCLAMATION DECLARING A STATE OF EMERGENCY IN NEW HANOVER COUNTY WHEREAS, the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners declared a State of Emergency pursuant to County Ordinance Article II, Section 6.7-16 and Chapter 166A of the North Carolina General Statutes, on July 10, 1996; and WHEREAS, the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners has determined that in the interest of public health and safety a curfew be established in New Hanover County; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: (1) All persons in New Hanover County shall observe a curfew and remain in their houses or other shelter during the hours from 8:00 P.M., July 12, 1996, to 5.00 A.M. on July 13, 1996. This curfew shall not apply to law enforcement, fire, or emergency personnel. (2) The New Hanover County Board Commissioners may impose an extension of this curfew or other prohibitions determined to be in the interest of public health and safety.
