RESOLUTION
OF THE
BOARD OF DISTRICT COMMISSIONERS
OF THE
NEW HANOVER COUNTY
WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT
WHEREAS New Hanover County Water & Sewer District is
presently engaged in a project for the construction and
installation of a county wide water and sewer collection system
according to the County 201 Facility Plan, and
WHEREAS New Hanover County Water & Sewer District
recently advertised for bids for construction of Phase II of said
project and said bids were opened on the 10th day of March, 1989
and considered for award of the project whereupon it was
determined that MARK H. JOHNSON, INC. was the lowest responsible
bidder;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Article
8, Chapter 143 of the North Carolina General Statutes, and
contingent upon approval by the U. S. Environmental Protection
Agency, New Hanover County Water and Sewer District hereby awards
contracts A and C to MARK H. JOHNSON, INC. in the amount of Two
Million Six Hundred Four Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Four
($2,604,864) Dollars.

bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Article
8, Chapter 143 of the North Carolina General Statutes, and
contingent upon approval by the U. S. Environmental Protection
Agency, New Hanover County Water and Sewer District hereby awards
contract B to T. A. LOVING COMPANY in the amount of One Million
One Hundred Sixty Seven Thousand Twenty Five and 52/100
($1,167,025.52) Dollars.
