RESOLUTION
OF THE
BOARD OF DISTRICT COMMISSIONERS
OF THE
NEW HANOVER COUNTY
WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, New Hanover County Water and Sewer District is
currently engaged in a 201 Facility Plan Update; and
WHEREAS criteria for consideration of grants from the
Environmental Protection Agency for assistance in funding the
cost of design and construction of wastewater facilities are
based on adoption of the Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of District
Commissioners of the New Hanover County Water and Sewer District
that the District concurs in the findings of Talbert, Cox &
Associates of Wilmington, North Carolina presented in open public
hearing during a special meeting of the District held on Monday,
April 18, 1988 at 7 o'clock P.M., that Alternative One is the
recommended plan and
is
the
most environmentally
sound
alternative to provide sewer service in the second phase study
area.
