AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCU
OF
FEDERAL GRANT FOR WASTEWATER COLLECTION FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the New Hanover Coun~ Water and Sewer
District adopted a resolution dated V/U~ cfl, /9j)9
authorizing the submittal of an applicc(.tion for a federal
grant for Wastewater collection Faciliti~~s for the County of
New Hanover; and
WHEREAS, the United States Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) has notified the New Hanover County Water and
Sewer District of its offer of a Step III Federal Grant in
the amount of $3,594,492 for the construction of Wastewater
Collection Facilities (identified as EPA Project No.
C-370426-04).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the New Hanover
County Water and Sewer District:
That Wyatt Blanchard is authorized to sign an EPA
Assistance Agreement on behalf of the New Hanover
County Water and Sewer District accepting this
grant offer dated September 30, 1988.
That the New Hanover County Water and Sewer
District does hereby certify that it will arrange
financing for all costs in excess of federal funds
approved for said project.
Adopted this the 17th day of October, 1988.

Protection Agency, as regularly a.dopted at a legally
