P.M. in the Assembly Room of the New Hanover Count
Administration Building, 320 Chestnut Street, Wilmington
North Carolina.

District Members present were: commissioners Joh
Dolan; Nolan O'Neal; Fred Retchin; vice-Chairman, W. Alber
Corbett, Jr.; Chairman, Jonathan Barfield, Sr.; Count
Manager, G. Felix Cooper; County Attorney, Robert W. pope
and Clerk to the Board, Lucie F. Harrell.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Dolan MOVED, SECONDED by Vice-Chairm
Corbett to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of M
18, 1987, as presented. Upon vote, the MOTION CARRI
UNANIMOUSLY.
NON-AGENDA ITEMS
Chairman Barfield asked if anyone from the gener
public would like to speak on an item not listed on t
Regular Agenda. No one commented.
PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED 1987-88 BUDGET l
Chairman Barfield stated public notice had been giv
that a Public Hearing would be held on the proposed 1987- J
Budget for the New Hanover County Water and Sewer District
Chairman Barfield opened the Public Hearing.
Chairman Barfield asked if anyone present would like
speak on the proposed budget. No one commented.
Chairman Barfield closed the Public Hearing.
ADOPTION OF FY 1987-88 BUDGET ORDINANCE
Commissioner Retchin MOVED, SECONDED by Commission r
Dolan to adopt the 1987-88 Budget Ordinance. Upon vote, t e
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION DEFINING RESPONSIBILITIES OF
WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT COMMISSIONERS AND REPEALING
DISTRICT ORDINANCE
