Cox and Associates.

Retchin; and District Chairman Jonathan Barfield, Sr.;
County Attorney, Robert W. Pope; Assistant County Manag
Mary Gornto and Deputy Clerk to the Board Joyce Bragg.
Ray Hamilton and Sy Riffle, staff members of Talb t
Cox and Associates presented information about the progr s
of the countywide sewer system, specifically the South n
end area. They explained the different types of fund' g
available to the county.

District Chairman Barfield asked if anyone pres t

Their concerns and questions centered around the Cou y
continuing to issue septic tank permits until the system s
complete and complained about taxes without compensati
District Commissioner Barfield suggested that Mr. and M
Hardee talk to the legislators about the septic tank iss e
in order to ease the restraints the State has upon e
County when issuing septic tank permits.
District Chairman Barfield closed the Public Hearing.
District Chairman Barfield thanked the two people n
attendance for their comments.
