Members present were: District Commissioners Nolan O'Neal red Retchin; Vice-Chairman E. L. Mathews, Jr.; Chairman Jonatha arfield, Sr.; County Manager, Allen 0' Neal; County Attorney obert W. pope; and Clerk to the District Board, Lucie F arrell. District Commissioner W. Albert Corbett, Jr. was absent duo o attending an out-of-state international trade conference. Chairman Retchin called the meeting to order. No 0 r f\PPROVAL OF REQUEST BY UNITED ADVENT CHRISTIAN CHURCH TO CONNE II' THE SEWER FORCE MAIN I County Engineer, Wyatt Blanchard, stated united Adve t hristian Church has requested permission to connect to the sewJf orce main when completed by Wal-Mart. The church has be~in xperiencing difficulties with their disposal system and has be~b otified by the Health Department to either connect to the sew1~ ystem or construct a new above-the-ground waste disposal syste~. Reverend Adrian Shepherd, Pastor of the United Adve~t hristian Church, commented on the growth of the church and t~e 'mmediate need to connect to the system. Upon vote, the MOTIO ARRIED AS FOLLOWS: Voting Aye: District Commissioner O'Neal District Commissioner Retchin Vice-Chairman Mathews Chairman Barfield Absent: District Commissioner Corbett PROVAL OF SEWER ALLOCATION AND AUTHORIZATION TO CONNECT TO AL-MART PUMP STATION AS REQUESTED BY TOMMY YOUNG County Engineer Blanchard stated Mr. Tommy Young eveloping a fifty (50) lot subdivision and has requeste pproval of a sewer allocation of 18,000 gallons per day a ermission to extend a twelve (12) inch gravity line to thi roperty from the Wal-Mart Pump Station. He presented a map of the streets involved.
