Members present were: District Commissioner E. L. Mathews, Jr. District Commissioner Fred Retchin District Commissioner William H. Sutton Vice-Chairman Robert G. Greer Chairman Jonathan Barfield, Sr. Chairman Barfield called the meeting to order. LOVING COMPANY ROVISION OF STORM DRAINAGE AND SEWER CONSTRUCTION FOR GHTSBORO REHABILITATION PROGRAM County Engineer, Wyatt Blanchard, stated the following bi ere received on March 29, 1991, for providing storm drainage a ewer construction for the Wrightsboro Rehabilitation progra . fter review, Staff recommends award of the low bid to T. oving Company. T. A. Loving Company Sneeden, Inc. State utilities Contractors R. H. Moore Company, Inc. Multi-state Construction Corp. Raney, Inc. Jacobs Builder, Inc. $320,869.00 $323,253.00 $327,482.60 $346,386.50 $399,014.50 $424,848.30 $475,092.50 District Commissioner Retchin MOVED, SECONDED ice-Chairman Greer to award the low bid to T. A. Loving Compa n the amount of $320,869.00 and authorize the Chairman xecute the contract documents. IIHe stated the system alerts personnel through a computer in ttie Engineering Office of any malfunctions with identification of t>>e alfunctions as well as the exact location. After work hourff' the system utilizes a paging system which has alleviated die necessity of 24-hour manned pump stations and is capable ~f an::::500 pagerSc:::~s:::e:e ~:::~~:d :v~:~er ::::::::nt~~ to adjourn.
