Presentation, Elizabeth Meyer, Stepan Company
Elizabeth Meyer provided an overview of the Stepan Company and their products, and the Wilmington
plant's emergency response plan, capabilities, and available equipment as well as their interaction with
off-site response agencies. At the conclusion of the presentation, Frank put out an invitation to all LEPC
members to develop and share similar presentations about their facilities so we can all learn a little
about each facility and discussed the benefit it provides to our public safety partners.
Commodity Flow Study Update
Frank reviewed the information from Teresa’s May 20th email regarding the status of the Commodity
Flow Study and the importance of any member facility that John Steinauer has reached out to for more
information, the importance of responding and answering the questions to assist in building a
completed study to aid in evaluating the risk. All information provided is considered "For Official Use
Only" and will not be shared indiscriminately. If any partners that had not responded yet have any
concerns, reach out to Teresa or John Steinauer to get your questions or concerns answered.
