NEW HANOVER COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY
REGULAR MEETING
February 10, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
The New Hanover County Airport Authority met on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, in the Harrell
Conference Room at the New Hanover County Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive,
Wilmington, North Carolina. Chairman Girardot called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.
Airport Authority members attending were Donna Girardot, Chairman; Harry Stovall, Vice Chairman;
Spruill Thompson, Secretary; Tom Wolfe; Julia Olson-Boseman; Nick Rhodes; Lee Williams; and Wanda
Copley, County Attorney.
CLOSED SESSION
Chairman Girardot called for a motion for the Authority to enter a closed session to consider personnel
matters pursuant to North Carolina General Statute (NCGS) 143-318.11(a)(6). Mr. Thompson MOVED,
SECONDED by Mr. Wolfe to enter a closed session to regarding personnel matters pursuant to NCGS 143-
318.11(a)(6). Upon vote, the MOTION WAS APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
The Authority went into closed session at 12:03 p.m. with all Authority members.
RETURN TO OPEN SESSION
The Airport Authority returned to open session at 1:28 p.m. and Chairman Girardot announced that no
action was taken by the Airport Authority.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Girardot adjourned the meeting at
1:30 p.m.
