The county acts as the pass -through entity for this Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) funding. The increase of $42,000 will be used to purchase a 16 passenger van that will enable Communities in Schools to transport students, clients and volunteers to Teen Court sessions and volunteer conferences and events, therefore increasing access and participation. The estimated cost includes the purchase of a gently used vehicle, including registration, title, taxes and insurance. There is a 20% match that will be provided by Communities in Schools. There is no county match. Section 3: Documentation of Adoption This ordinance shall be effective upon its adoption.
