THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF NEW HANOVER COUNTY DOTH ORDAIN: Section 1. The Zoning Map of Zoning Area #2 and Zoning Area #6 is hereby amended by removing the hereinafter described tract of land from the R-15 Residential District classification and putting it in the B-2 Business District classification, said land being described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the southern right-of-way line of Oleander Drive (Highway 76) with the western right-of-way line of Greenville Loop Road; running thence westwardly along the southern right-of-way line of Oleander Drive to the western right-of-way line of South Bagley Avenue (the eastern boundary of B-2 zoned area); thence southwardly along the western right-of-way line of South Bagley Avenue to a point that is 200' from Oleander Drive when measured at a perpendicular angle from Oleander Drive; thence eastwardl_y along a line that is 200' southwardly from and parallel to the southern right-of-way line of Oleander Drive to the western right-of-way line of Greenville Loop Road; thence northwardly along said western right-of-way line of Greenville Loop Road to the southern right-of-way line of Oleander Drive, the point of BEGINNING. Section 2. The County Clerk is hereby authorized and directed under the supervision of the County Commissioners to change the zoning map of Zoning Area No. 2 and Zoning Area No. 6 on file in the office of the County Commissioners, so as to make it comply with this ordinance. Section 3. Any ordinance or any part of any ordinance in conflict with this ordinance, to the extent of such conflict, is hereby repealed. Section 4. This ordinance is adopted in the interest of public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the inhabitants of the County of New . The Zoning Map of Zoning Area #6 is hereby amended by removing the hereinafter described tract of land from the R-15 Residential District classification and putting it in the R-10 Residential District classification, said land being described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the northern line of Wrightsville Avenue (60 foot right-of-way), at its intersection with the dividing line between Lots 8 and 9 of the Subdivision of the Richard Westbrook Property, as shown upon the map of said Subdivision recorded in the New Hanover County Registry, in Map Book 2, Page 137; running thence north 29 degrees 12 minutes east along said dividing line, 1,365.25 feet to the northeastern corner of Lot 8 of said Subdivision; thence north 51 degrees 11 minutes west, along the northern lines of Lots 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 of said Subdivision, 711.70 feet to the northwestern corner of Lot 2 of said Subdivision; thence south 29 degrees 8 minutes west, along the western line of Lot 2 of said Subdivision, 1,196.06 feet to the north- western corner of that tract conveyed to Gertrude Faircloth by deed recorded in said Registry in Book 489, Page 350; thence south 60 degrees 52 minutes east parallel to Wrightsville Avenue and along the northern line (extended) of said Faircloth tract, 300.0 feet to the dividing line between Lots 4 and 5 of said Subdivision; thence south 29 degrees 8 minutes west along said dividing line between Lots 4 and 5 of said Subdivision, 290.0 feet to the northern line of Wrightsville Avenue; thence south 60 degrees 36 minutes east along the northern line of Wrightsville Avenue 400.0 feet to the point of BEGINNING, the same being a part of Lots 2, 3 and 4 and all of Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8 of the Subdivision of the Richard Westbrook Property as shown upon said map (total of 20.90 acres). Section 2. The County Clerk is hereby authorized and directed under the supervision of the County Commissioners to change the Zoning Map of Zoning Area No. 6 on file in the office of the County Commissioners, so as to make it comply with this ordinance. Section 3. Any ordinance or any part of any ordinance in conflict with this ordinance, to the extent of such conflict, is hereby repealed. Section 4. This ordinance is adopted in the interest of public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the inhabitants of the County of New Hanover, North Carolina, and shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
