Letter of Intent to Serve
New Hanover County, NC

Dear Mr. Whiting:
This letter is to confirm Aqua North Carolina, Inc. is the owner and operator of The
Cape Master Water and Wastewater system located in New Hanover County. Aqua
has been granted a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) by the
North Carolina Utilities Commission (NCUC) to provide water and sewer utility service
in the subdivision of The Cape in New Hanover County. The property described above
is located in close proximity of The Cape Master Water and Wastewater system. Aqua
has the capacity to provide water and wastewater to this development. It is our
intention to provide water and sewer service pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 130A-337.
Upon entering into any necessary agreements, between Aqua and the developer of
these parcels, Aqua agrees to provide water and sewer utility services under the rules
and regulations of the North Carolina Utilities Commission and the North Carolina
Department of Environmental Quality.
