Nick Drees, NCDOT
1. Driveway permit is under review, additional information is needed from the applicant. NCDOT is ready to
approve pending submittal of Performance Bond
Jamar Johnson, WMPO
1. Comments have been satisfied. The only thing I did not see on the plans were the ADA detectable warning pads
at the curb ramps but did read general note #43 on sheet GN-1 in the doc labeled PDFPart-1 stating the
pedestrian walkways would be ADA compliant. ADA warning pads added to site plan.
Dustin Fenske, Environmental Health
1. In lieu of abandoning wells, the well head must be protected and abandoned by a certified well driller at some
point. Note added to DM-1 “well head must be protected and abandoned by a certified well driller”

1. It looks like the grading is just above the wetlands line but they should be cautioned that any disturbance even if
temporary may require Corps permitting. Note added to Grading Plans (GD1 – GD4) “Any disturbance may
require Corps Permitting”
