POTENTIAL CHANGE ORDER DESCRIPTION: (The Contract Is Changed As Follows)
The screening operation for unsuitable soil will not be sufficient to overcome the issue. Import and export activities will be necessary to rid the site of
unsuitable soil and fill it with fill capable of supporting a structural load. This Change Order will act as an allowance with the assumption of 17,500 CY of
unsuitable soil export and 17,500 CY of suitable fill import. This work will be provided at the following rates by the Site Subcontractor:
Unsuitable Soil Export: $20.50/CY
Suitable Fill Import: $26.25/CY
Export: 20.50 x 17,500 = $358,750.00
Import: 26.25 x 17,500 = $459,375.00
