concept plan revisions
Dear Mr. Grathwol:
The County's Technical Review Committee in regular session
on April 11, 1990 took the following actions regarding the above -
referenced projects.
1. Approved Brittany Woods, Phase IV, consisting of 35
single-family lots on 19+ acres.
2. Approved revisions to the concept master plan of Coastal
Carolina Country Club. These include the establishment of
single family housing (Brittany Woods, Phase IV) just south
of sections 4, 5, and 6 of Brittany Woods); establishment of
additional single-family housing south of Phase IV, and the
relocation of one of the golf holes south of the un-named
single-family addition.
Attending the meeting were Bill Sisson, Planning Board
member, members of staff and you. No special conditions were
applied to the approvals.

a corresponding submission of a revised master pla1 for Coastal
Carolina Country Club. This revision to the master plan will
require approval by the Technical Review Committee.
Relevant agency comments for Phase IV Brittany Woods have
been solicited. Once they have been received, we will schedule a
review by the TRC.

ITEM 1: River Island at River Hills Plantation (Performance
Development)
Location: West side of River Road, 700+ feet south
of Watauga Road
Tract Size: 25.73
No. of Lots: 13

Previous TRC Action: None
This land is a remnant parcel of a larger parent tract
formerly known as Ocean Forest Lakes. Ocean Forest Lakes
was approved as a Performance Development on November 27,
1984. Two sections have been recorded totalling 167 lots.
The plan has since expired and no attempts have been made to
revive it. (See attached map for location of Ocean Forest.)
Action requested: Approval of 13 lot land division
ITEM 2: Brittany Woods Phase IV at Coastal Carolina Country
Club
Location: South of Potomac Court in Brittany Woods
Subdivision
Tract Size: 19.5 acres
Number of lots: 35
Roads: Public
Water/Sewer: Coastal Carolina Utilities
Previous TRC Actions:
At its March 21, 1990 meeting, the TRC approved a
revised plan for Gordon Woods, another subdivision
contained in Coastal Carolina Country Club. The TRC
also approved Brittany Lakes on December 21, 1988.
Other subdivisions approved to date withing the scope
of the Coastal Carolina project were approved
administratively (prior to TRC review requirements).
These include: Quail Woods, Brittany Woods, and
Shenandoah Woods.
Action Requested:
A: Approval of revised master plan for Coastal
Carolina Country Club.
B. Approval of Brittany Woods, Phase IV, 35 lots.
