This is a notice of a community information meeting for an upcoming rezoning request. The property is located at
229 Pages Creek Road. The current Owner is Perry Hewlett. The rezoning request would be from the current
“residential” R-20 district, to (CZD) R-15, a conditional district, for division of the tract into seven (7) residential
lots. The meeting is an opportunity for further explanation of the proposal and for questions to be answered
concerning project improvements, benefits and impacts.
The subject tract is approximately 2.89 acres. The New Hanover County parcel number (PIN) is 316919.72.6798,
with a tax identification (PID) of R04500-002-001-001. Your property is located in the proximity, within a 500’
perimeter, of the proposed project.
This proposal would require approval from New Hanover County Board of Commissioners. A Conditional Zoning
District allows particular uses to be established only in accordance with specific standards and conditions
pertaining to each individual development project.
A meeting will be held on Thursday, October 26th, 6:00 p.m., at Ogden Park’s Picnic Shelter #2. The location is
across the parking areas from the basketball court and dog park. (See Map below)
