Summary Supportive Housing Supportive Housing Community Code Sections Affected Section 2.3, Definitions and Terms Table 4.2.1, Principal Use Table Section 4.3.2, Residential Uses Table 5.1.2 A, Minimum Off-Street Parking Key Intent • Create new use and definition for Supportive Housing Community to accommodate an identified organizational and community need and remove barriers to the development of such uses in the unincorporated county. • Reduce subjectivity in the interpretation of the Principal Land Use Table and provide a direct process for development of this use with appropriate guiding standards. • Assign zoning district permissions for the use in the Principal Use Table. • Draft and adopt supplemental standards consistent with those of a residential subdivision or community living facility. Changes • Definition for Supportive Housing Community is added. (See Section 2.3, Definitions and Terms) • Zoning District permissions are added, with reference to supplementary standards.
