Site Plan Comments:
Include/update the NCDOT Standard Drawings (2024) that are applicable to the
development.
• Use parallel pipe end sections instead of a flared end section.

Sight Triangles and Sight Distance:
• Show and label the 10’ X 70’ NCDOT sight triangles.
o No obstructions shall be placed within the NCDOT sight triangles.

This development is located within STIP U-5863. With that in mind, any accesses that

and there shall not be any compensation made by NCDOT. Therefore, the permitted
access point/points may be restricted in the future.

• Please add Emergency Beacons and signs per the MUTCD, (Emergency Signal Ahead
W11-12P, and Emergency Vehicle Ahead, W11-8) The sign shall be marked as Fire
Station ahead.
Response: Per coordination with NCDOT an emergency signal/beacon is not required
at this time. W11-8 sign has been added at the southern property boundary in the
ROW per comment above.
