Dear Interviewing Panel,
On behalf of the LINC Board of Directors and staff,I would like to express my appreciation for
the opportunity to discuss our qualifications with you yesterday.
To supplement our discussion,I would like to elaborate on our extensive experience in
partnership with key financial institutions and government bodies such as the North Carolina
Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA),the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLBA),and the
City of Wilmington (COW).In 2007,LINC successfully developed a forty-five-bed residential
campus with financial support from these entities.Since then,we have steadfastly committed to
providing transitional, permanent, supportive, and workforce housing within New Hanover
County. Our recent acquisition of a quadruplex through Cape Fear Collective, financed by the
COW Rental Rehab Incentive Program,is a testament to our ongoing efforts in this sector. This
commitment is not just a part of our work,it's our passion.
Notably, compliance with local, state, and federal regulations has always been a cornerstone of
our operations. The panel must recognize our rigorous adherence to the guidelines and
deadlines set forth by supportive housing programs.Over the past eighteen years, our financial
and program monitoring processes have been meticulous, and we are proud to report that we
have not encountered any compliance findings.
We hope this information provides a clearer picture of our capabilities and experience in
managing programs similar to New Hanover County’s Workforce Housing Program.
Thank you once again for considering our application. We are eager and look forward to the
possibility of contributing to the success of your initiatives. We are excited about the potential to
work together on the New Hanover County's Workforce Housing Program.
Sincerely,
Frankie Roberts
