As shown on the attached exhibit map, the hydrant flow test was conducted at existing hydrants along US Highway 421 adjacent to the above referenced site. Based on the results hydrant flow test, Paramounte Engineering, Inc. (PEI) completed hydraulic analysis of required fire flow using WaterCAD software. Detailed results of this analysis are enclosed. As shown in the enclosed Required Fire Flow Calculation Per 2018 NCFSC Appendix B, the minimum fire flow required is 1,500 gpm. The enclosed results of the hydraulic analysis show this flow to be maintained throughout the proposed system. We appreciate the opportunity to provide this service for you and your project. US Highway 421, Wilmington, NC Fire Flow Calculation Area: 152,880 Sq. Ft. Construction Type: II-B Buildings will be outfitted with ESFR sprinkler system. Per Table B105.2, for a building of this type with an automatic sprinkler system, the Minimum Fire- Flow required will be 25% the value in Table B105.1(2). Flow Duration will be the value in Table B105.1(2) at the reduced flow rate.
