V. Old Business
1. A Safe Place Presentation – Can we Talk: Community Awareness – Olivia Thames - This is Human
Trafficking Prevention Month. A Safe Place needs volunteers who would need to do a $10
background check first. They also need personal products (items are posted on their website).
Kathleen, their Director, gave a training that both Sheila and Olivia were able to attend last
Saturday at Ambassadors of Christ’s facilities.
2. Updates on the Period Product Project /Product Drive– Sheila Evans spoke with Allie Moore of the
Junior League (also local attorney) and she has connected us with Shameka Kemp who will be our
contact with the Junior League on partnering with them in some way for International Women’s
Month.
3. Budget Updates – Sheila Evans – Sheila will turn in a request for $4500 from the county for
sponsorships, a table-top sign and some miscellaneous items. T-shirts will not be sponsored by the
county. We will purchase those ourselves.
4. NHCCFW Logo Shirts – Debbie Todd - Debbie requested that everyone who wanted a t-shirt (really
polo shirt) please email your size and preferences to her for one group order through Queensboro.
5. Tabletop Sign – Tomeka Jarreau, NHC Office of Diversity & Equity - Amy Schlag suggested that we
use the Logo Hub for a table top display. They are a local vender and it will likely cost $65.
6. Tablecloth – Sheila Evans – we may request this from the city.
7. NHCCFW Flyer -Tara Hix – Tara worked on a Rack Card (small, thick flyer about the C4W). Sheila
will email it to us all for comments. The County should be able to create these for us. It will have
both the City and County info and logos present.

physical health and more. Velva, Bridget, Lindy and Debbie volunteered to revise and report next
month.

thth

for us and we may need to partner with other organizations to bring this back to life.
2. Resiliency Task Force Statement of Support – Bridget Tarrant/Debbie Todd – This is an
organization we need to be a part of more visibly. Sheila made motion to include our logo with our
