Call to Order, Roll Call– Sheila Evans, Chair II. Approve Agenda – AMENDED January 2025, Submitted by Sheila, Seconded by Debbie Todd III. Approve Minutes – December 2024 Meeting Minutes, Submitted by Sheila, Seconded by Bridget Tarrant IV. Self-Introduction, New Member – Sarah Snyder, not in attendance V. Old Business 1. Women’s History Month/International Women’s Day Event – Sheila Evans/Linda Thompson/Tomeka Jarreau a. Panelists Questions i. Intros, background, 1. Velva suggests 3 minutes/per person, Tracey says 1-2, the group agrees 1min intro 2. Lindy mentions knowing their background and asking pertinent questions 3. Tracey suggests meeting with all together via Zoom, give questions, time limits, etc. 4. Hayley brings up that intros and 1 question/person will take all the time 5. Olivia points out that intros could include first question 6. Sheila mentions that after intros and pertinent questions, she can add her own or plant others among the audience ii. Salette Andrews- speaking on her health iii. Dr. Constance Foreman- taking your health beyond clinic walls and the importance of self-empowerment for healthy living iv. Adrienne Arrington-Kenion - teas b. Vendors i. Linda mentions “who is making sure that all that is happening” 1. Are we offering staffing? Coordination? ii. Fire code, etc may prevent us from offering this, must investigate iii. Vendors would be panelists, exclusively, QR codes, if not possible iv. Dr Foreman is launching a book c. Sponsors i. Judge Robinson mentioned Novant in the past, circling back via portal recommended by Velva ii. League of Women Voters and Capital Solutions secured iii. Hayley mentioned interest from Sysco food corporation, will follow up iv. Debbie is checking with Girl Scouts d. Budget i. Linda’s guidance suggested a $25 ticket, $0 speaker fee, and sponsorship fees should cover food ($16.99/person) and expenses, $0 venue fee e. Timeline i.
