Hey Steph, Thanks for sending that over! This should be enough. I’ll include it in the case file. Tree Removal Permit has been processed and invoiced, invoice reference # INV-00081111. This can be paid online through our Coast system at www.nhcgov.com/coast <http://www.nhcgov.com/coast> or by calling 910-798-7308 x1 x2. You’re also welcome to bring a check by. The fee is $45.00. As a note, when I was running through the review of the Tree Removal Permit, I noted that the inches you provided as retained for mitigation was 142, the exact amount to cover the significant trees removed. The tree removal table on page 2 of the site plan shows 377” of trees retained, including the one 18” poplar which is listed as significant. Because these are native trees, the amount of retention inches provided for mitigation (which multiplies by a factor of 1.5) comes to 565 mitigation inches provided. This doesn’t change anything about the permit aside from what numbers I plugged into our system but I wanted to note it because it’s different from the value on the application. I’m still waiting to hear back from some of the other review agencies, but I gave them a deadline of tomorrow per policy so I’ll send out a reminder today. The one in the file doesn’t reference the access easement. I pulled the Order for the Zoning Map Amendment and that references the map book and page number of the plat, which should include the deeded access (I didn’t nab that earlier) so I’ll check that tomorrow and let you know. I talked with Ron and we’re not going to require them to be shown on the site plans since this is a unique access point and you can’t show sight triangles on someone else’s property. I’ll work on getting the tree application to you in the next day or so. On the sight triangles, we are obtaining a permit for a change of use of the existing driveway. There are no changes proposed to the existing driveway. I added a note to this effect in the vicinity of the driveway on sheet on of the revised set. If the NCDOT required sight triangle on the original permit then these would still be enforceable. I didn’t see the sight triangles on the revised set for the access onto Gordon Rd. Please add these to the site plan. 6. Tree Removal- The landscaping plan and the tree removal retention look good. Mitigation provided meets the requirements. I don’t have a Tree Removal Permit on file for this site.
