SUBJECT: Request for addition to the State Highway System: Eventide Boulevard, Songbird Court,
Aloft Way, Baldwin Park Drive, Stoneybrook Road, North Bend Road, and Anchors Bend
Way located in the Anchors Bend Subdivision within New Hanover County
(Division File No. 1304-N).
Dear Ms. Cilinski:
This office has investigated your petition for road addition to the State Highway System for maintenance
and we are pleased to inform you that the above roads are approved for addition except for a portion of
Baldwin Park Drive (Stoneybrook Road to North Bend Road). This addition was approved by the North
Carolina Board of Transportation at the Board meeting on July 17, 2025.
It is not practical for us to notify all the petitioners regarding the addition of the roads. Your name was the
first most legible signature on the above petition, and we would appreciate it if you would inform the
interested persons on our behalf.
Division of Highways Maintenance forces will begin maintaining this road as soon as it can be worked into
their schedule. Any improvement programmed for this road will be accomplished within the needs for
existing State-maintained roads located in this county.
