The 2024 New Hanover County Board of Equalization and Review met on Thursday October 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. Conference Room 139 of the New Hanover County Government Center, 230 Government
Center Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting was to hear appeals by property owners regarding their 2024 tax exemption status.
Members present for the session were Chris Stewart, Brad White, Mike Musselwhite, Jason Colclough, and Ida Smith.
Staff members present were Tax Administrator Allison Snell, Asst. Tax Administrator Chris Boney, County Attorney Karen Richards, and Fiscal Support Specialist Michelle Martin.
Chris Stewart called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Mike Musselwhite MOVED, SECONDED by Jason Colclough the motion carried 5 to 0.

Agenda item #3: Hearings from Appellants 9 AM /
Chris Stewart MOVED, SECONDED by Jason Colclough to approve tax deferral for Tabs 19-39 the motion carried 4 to 0. Brad White asked to be recused. A MOTION was
made by Jason Colclough SECONDED by Mike Musselwhite to allow a 30 day extension to November 15th for Appellant to provide income verification for Tabs 1-7. The motion carried 4 to
0. Brad White asked to be recused.
