The 2018 New Hanover County Board of Equalization and Review met on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in the Lucie Harrell Conference Room of the New Hanover County Government Center,
230 Government Center Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting was to hear appeals by property owners regarding their 2018 tax value assessments.
Members present for the session were: Chairman Hector Ingram, 1st Co-Chairman Brad White, 2nd Co-Chairman Fred Gainey, Jason Swain and Wes Turbeville.
Staff members present were: Asst. Tax Administrators Lawana Schulze, Appraisal Supervisor James Paulk, Appraisers Ron McWatty, Eric Davis, Eileen Haley and, Gregory Davis, Administrative
Support Secretaries Michelle Martin and Juanita Wallace.
Chairman Hector Ingram called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Approval of April 17, 2018 & May 11, 2018 minutes. Brad White MOVED, SECONDED by Fred Gainey to approve minutes the motion carried 5 to 0.

Chairman Hector Ingram asked if, there was any new business. The next meeting is on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 with Chairman Hector Ingram, Brad White, Fred Gainey, Jason Swain and Wes
Turbeville expected to attend. Upcoming meetings Tuesday, July 10 and July 24, 2018.

There being no further business to consider, Chairman Hector Ingram asked for a motion to recess. 1st Co-Chairman Brad White moved; seconded by 2nd Co-Chairman Fred Gainey to recess
Board of Equalization and Review at 10:15 am. The motion carried 5 to 0.
