The 2017 New Hanover County Board of Equalization and Review met on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the Lucie Harrell Conference Room of the New Hanover County Government
Center, 230 Government Center Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting was to hear appeals by property owners regarding their 2017 tax value assessments.
Members present for the session were: Chairman Paul Magnabosco, Co-Chairman Hector Ingram, Nancy Pritchett, Brad White and, Jason Swain.
Staff members present were: Asst. Tax Administrators Lawana Schulze & Scott Saunders, Appraisers Ron McWatty and, Larry Moeller, Administrative Support Secretaries Michelle Martin
and Juanita Wallace.
Chairman Paul Magnabosco called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
AGENDA ITEM # 1: Approval of Minutes
Approval of December 5, 2017 minutes. Jason Swain MOVED, SECONDED by Brad White to approve minutes the motion carried 5 to 0.

AGENDA ITEM # 3A: Tax Appeal Presentations 9:00 AM Session
The Board heard appeal presentations from the following individuals regarding the 2017 tax assessment of real property. Each appellant was informed that the Board would make decisions
following the hearings and they would be notified by mail of the Board’s decision.

Chairman Paul Magnabosco asked if, there was any new business and, there was none.
AGENDA ITEM # 6: Upcoming Meetings
Chairman Paul Magnabosco discussed the upcoming meeting schedule. The next Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 9am-5pm with, Chairman Paul Magnabosco, Co-Chairman
Hector Ingram, Nancy Pritchett, Brad White & Jason Swain expected to attend. Future meeting scheduled Tuesday, January 30th from 9-5pm with, Chairman Paul Magnabosco, Co-Chairman Hector
Ingram, Nancy Pritchett, Jason Swain & Brad White expected to attend. Chairman Paul Magnabosco asked Board secretaries to schedule conference room through mid, March 2018 for any final
business.
AGENDA ITEM # 7: Recess
There being no further business to consider, Chairman Paul Magnabosco asked for a motion to recess. Hector Ingram moved; seconded by Brad White to recess Board of Equalization
and Review at 10:25 am. The motion carried 5 to 0.
