The 2017 New Hanover County Board of Equalization and Review met on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the Lucie Harrell Conference Room of the New Hanover County Government Center,
230 Government Center Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting was to hear appeals by property owners regarding their 2017 tax value assessments.
Members present for the session were: Paul Magnabosco (Chairman), Hector Ingram (Co-Chairman) (pm session), Nancy Pritchett (am session), Jason Swain, Brad White and Fred Gainey
(pm session).
Staff members present were: Asst. Tax Administrators Lawana Schulze & Scott Saunders, Appraisal Supervisor James Paulk, Appraisers Steve Walker, Larry Moeller, Ron McWatty, Zack
Keeler, Randy Kahl, Gregory Davis, Heather Haas & Eric Davis, Listing Supervisor Deanna Cochran, Fiscal Support Specialist Jeanne Elmore, Administrative Support Secretaries Michelle
Martin & Juanita Wallace.
Chairman Paul Magnabosco called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Approval of July 11, 2017 minutes. Nancy Pritchett MOVED, SECONDED by Jason Swain to approve minutes the motion carried 4 to 0.

The Board heard appeal presentations from the following individuals regarding the 2017 tax assessment of real property. Each appellant was informed that the Board would make decisions
following the hearings and they would be notified by mail of the Board’s decision.

Hector Ingram will not be available for either of the meetings in August. Availability schedule has Chairman Paul Magnabosco, Nancy Pritchett, Jason Swain, Brad White, Fred Gainey
& Jay Stokley for both meetings all day.
