The 2017 New Hanover County Board of Equalization and Review met on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the Lucie Harrell Conference Room of the New Hanover County Government
Center, 230 Government Center Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting was to hear appeals by property owners regarding their 2017 tax value assessments.
Members present for the session were: Hector Ingram (Co-Chairman), Nancy Pritchett, Brad White and, Jason Swain.
Staff members present were: Asst. Tax Administrator Lawana Schulze, Appraisal Supervisor James Paulk, Appraisers Larry Moeller and, Ron McWatty, Administrative Support Secretaries
Michelle Martin and, Juanita Wallace.
Co-Chairman Hector Ingram called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
AGENDA ITEM # 1: Approval of Minutes
Approval of November 16, 2017 minutes. Nancy Pritchett MOVED, SECONDED by Jason Swain to approve minutes the motion carried 4 to 0.

The Board heard appeal presentations from the following individuals regarding the 2017 tax assessment of real property. Each appellant was informed that the Board would make decisions
following the hearings and they would be notified by mail of the Board’s decision.

Co-Chairman Hector Ingram asked if, there was any new business and, there was none.
AGENDA ITEM # 6: Upcoming Meetings
Co-Chairman Hector Ingram discussed the upcoming meeting schedule. The next Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 9am-5pm with, Chairman Paul Magnabosco, Nancy
Pritchett, Brad White & Fred Gainey expected to attend. Future meeting scheduled Tuesday, December 12th from 9-4pm with, Chairman Paul Magnabosco, Co-Chairman Hector Ingram, Nancy
Pritchett, Jason Swain & Brad White expected to attend.

There being no further business to consider, Co-Chairman Hector Ingram asked for a motion to recess. Nancy Pritchett moved; seconded by Jason Swain to recess Board of Equalization
and Review at 10:32 am. The motion carried 4 to 0.
