The 2017 New Hanover County Board of Equalization and Review met on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in the Lucie Harrell Conference Room of the New Hanover County Government Center,
230 Government Center Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting was to hear appeals by property owners regarding their 2017 tax value assessments.
Members present for the session were: Chairman Paul Magnabosco, Nancy Pritchett, Brad White, Hector Ingram and, Jason Swain.
Staff members present were: Asst. Tax Administrator Lawana Schulze, Appraisal Supervisor James Paulk, Appraisers Steve Walker, Larry Moeller, Ron McWatty and Eric Davis, Administrative
Support Secretaries Nancy Reis and Juanita Wallace.
Chairman Paul Magnabosco called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Chairman Paul Magnabosco discussed the upcoming meeting schedule. The next Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 9am-1pm with, Chairman Paul Magnabosco, Co-Chairman
Hector Ingram, Nancy Pritchett, Brad White & Jason Swain expected to attend. Future meeting scheduled Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 9-5pm with, Chairman Paul Magnabosco, Co-Chairman
Hector Ingram, Jason Swain, Brad White & Fred Gainey expected to attend.
AGENDA ITEM # 5: New Business
Chairman Paul Magnabosco informed Board Members interested in applying for 2019 Board that the deadline to apply will be February 26, 2018. Chairman Paul Magnabosco discussed some upcoming
changes which will be made to several documents and, presented on February 27, 2018 agenda.
AGENDA ITEM # 7: Recess
There being no further business to consider, Chairman Paul Magnabosco asked for a motion to recess. Brad White moved; seconded by Jason Swain to recess Board of Equalization
and Review at 1:40 pm. The motion carried 5 to 0.
