Chairman Daniel Perkins called the New Hanover County Tourism Development
Authority Public Hearing and Formal Budget Adoption to order at 5:09 p.m. at the NHC
Government Complex in the Andre’ Mallette Training Center, Room 135.

ITEM #2 – PUBLIC HEARING

Chairman Daniel Perkins opened the public hearing on the 2020-2021 budget ordinance.
As no one had signed up to speak, the Chairman asked for a motion to close the public
hearing.
\[Motion made by Darryl Mills, seconded by Pat Kusek and unanimously
approved to close the public hearing.\]
ITEM #3 - ADOPTION OF FY 2020-2021 BUDGET ORDINANCE
Chairman Daniel Perkins called for the Board’s adoption of the formal budget ordinance
for FY 2020/2021.
\[Motion made by Pat Kuesk and seconded by Anne Brodsky and unanimously
carried to adopt the formal budget ordinance for FY 2020/2021 in the amount of
$5,331,990. A copy of the ordinance is located in the Resolution/Ordinance book
dated as of March, 2011.\]
There being no further business to come before the Board, motion made to adjourn the
meeting at 5:15 p.m.
NOTE: Our next TDA Board Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
