Vice- Chairman Nicole Jones called the New Hanover County Tourism Development
Authority Public Hearing and Formal Budget Adoption to order at 5:09 p.m. in the River
Room at the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.
ITEM #1 – EXCUSED – Nicole Jones
Mayor Craig Bloszinsky, Mayor LeAnn Pierce, Jason Bryant, Deb Hays
ITEM #2 – PUBLIC HEARING
Vice- Chairman Nicole Jones opened the public hearing on the 2021-2022 budget
ordinance. As no one had signed up to speak, the Vice- Chairman asked for a motion to
close the public hearing.
\[Motion made by Chuck Pennington, seconded by Tom Ullring and
unanimously approved to close the public hearing.\]

ITEM #3 - ADOPTION OF FY 2021-2022 BUDGET ORDINANCE
Vice - Chairman Nicole Jones called for the Board’s adoption of the formal budget
ordinance for FY 2021/2022.
\[Motion made by Ken Dull and seconded by Chuck Pennington and
unanimously carried to adopt the formal budget ordinance for FY 2021/2022 in
the amount of $7,761,90. A copy of the ordinance is located in the
Resolution/Ordinance book dated as of March, 2011.\]
There being no further business to come before the Board, motion made to adjourn the
meeting at 5:15 p.m.
NOTE: Our next TDA Board Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
