Chairman Nicole Jones called the New Hanover County Tourism Development Authority
Public Hearing and Formal Budget Adoption to order at 5:00 p.m. at the NHC
Government Complex in Lucie Harrelson Conference Room.
ITEM #1 – EXCUSED – NICOLE JONES
The following were excused Mary Baggett, Zach Brigman, Mayor Bill Saffo, Ken Dull
ITEM #2 – PUBLIC HEARING
Chairman Nicole Jones opened the public hearing on the 2022-2023 budget ordinance.
As no one had signed up to speak, the Chairman asked for a motion to close the public
hearing.

\[Motion made by Craig Bloszinsky seconded by Lynn Barbee and
unanimously approved to close the public hearing.\]
ITEM #3 - ADOPTION OF FY 2022-2023 BUDGET ORDINANCE
Chairwoman Nicole Jones called for the Board’s adoption of the formal budget ordinance
for FY 2022/2023.
\[Motion made by Tom Ullring and seconded by Lynn Barbee and unanimously
carried to adopt the formal budget ordinance for FY 2022/2023 in the amount of
$13,161,865. A copy of the ordinance is located in the Resolution/Ordinance
book dated as of March 2011.\]
A copy of the FY2022/2023 NHC TDA Budget is in the Exhibit Book XIII.
There being no further business to come before the Board, motion made to adjourn the
meeting at 5:10 p.m.
NOTE: Our next TDA Board Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 31, 2022
