Nicole Jones called the New Hanover County Tourism Development Authority Public
Hearing and Formal Budget Adoption to order at 5:00 p.m. at NHC Government Center.
ITEM #1 – EXCUSED – NICOLE JONES
The following were excused Natalie English, Nicolas Montoya, LeAnn Pierce, Tom
Ullring

ITEM #2 – PUBLIC HEARING
Nicole Jones opened the public hearing on the 2024/2025 NHC TDA budget ordinance.
As no one had signed up to speak, the Chairman asked for a motion to close the public
hearing.
\[Motion made by Zeke Partin seconded by Lynn Barbee and
unanimously approved to close the public hearing.\]
ITEM #3 - ADOPTION OF FY 2024/2025 BUDGET ORDINANCE- NICOLE
JONES
Nicole Jones called for the Board’s adoption of the formal budget ordinance for FY
2024/2025.
\[Motion made Zeke Partin and seconded by Lynn Barbee and unanimously
carried to adopt the formal budget ordinance for FY 2024/2025 in the amount of
$13,161,865. A copy of the ordinance is in the Resolution/Ordinance book dated
as of March 2011.\]
A copy of the FY2024/2025 NHC TDA Budget is in Exhibit Book XIII.
ITEM #4- Budget Amendment 2024-005- ERIC CREDLE
BA#2024-005: to appropriate revenues and expenditures associated with new
GASB reporting standards for $2,622,000.
\[Motion made by Bill Saffo, seconded by Hap Fatzinger and
unanimously accepted to approve the B.A. 2024-005 for $2,622,000.\]
There being no further business to come before the Board, a motion was made to adjourn
the meeting at 5:10 p.m.
