Chairman Tom Ullring called the New Hanover County Tourism Development Authority
Public Hearing and Formal Budget Adoption to order at 5:00 p.m. at NHC Government
Center, Room 136

ITEM #1 – EXCUSED – Tom Ullring
The following were excused: Nicole Jones, Zeke Partin, Bill Saffo, Angela Rhodes, Dan
Tollens.
ITEM #2 – PUBLIC HEARING
Chairman Tom Ullring opened the public hearing on the FY 2025/2026 Budget
Ordinance.
Public Comment: Dr. Katie Randall made a statement to the NHC TDA Board
regarding concerns about funding new air service in regard to Avelo Airlines.

Book XIII\]
\[Motion made by Zach Brigman, seconded by Allen Oliver and
unanimously approved to close the public hearing.\]
ITEM #3 - ADOPTION OF FY 2025/2026 BUDGET ORDINANCE- Tom Ullring
Chairman Tom Ullring called for the NHC TDA Board’s adoption of the formal budget
ordinance for FY 2025/2026.
\[Motion made Lynn Barbee and seconded by Natalie English and unanimously
carried to adopt the formal budget ordinance for FY 2025/2026 in the amount of
$12,934,917. A copy of the ordinance is in the Resolution/Ordinance book dated
as of March 2011.\]
\[A copy of the FY2025/2026 NHC TDA Budget is in Exhibit Book XIII.\]
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the NHC TDA
Board of Directors. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 5:15 pm.
