AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF NEW HANOVER
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF ZONING AREA NO. 7
I OF NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA
ADOPTED DECEMBER 6, 1971
THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF NEW HANOVER COUNTY DOTH ORDAIN:
t Section I. The Zoning Map of Zoning Area No. 10 is hereby amended by

1 removing the hereinafter described tract from the R -15 Residential Zoning
District Classification and placing it in the 1 -2 Zoning District Classification,

said land being described as follows:

Being all of Lot No. 22 and No. 14 of a re- subdivision of Flemington near
Wilmington, N.C. as shown on a map of said re- subdivision by Charles Foard,
surveyor, dated April 8, 1954, recorded in Book of Maps 5, Page 104, in the
44P office of the Register of Deeds of New Hanover County, North Carolina, to which I
reference is hereby made for a more full and complete description, said lot
having the metes, bounds and location as shown on said map.
Section 2. The County Clerk is hereby authorized and directed under the
supervision of the County Commissioners to change the Zoning Map of Zoning Area
1 No. 7 on file in the office of the County Commissioners, so as to make it comply

1 with this ordinance.
Section 3. Any ordinance or any part of any ordinance in conflict with
this ordinance, to the extent of such conflict, is hereby repealed.
4 191 Section 4. This ordinance is adopted in the interest of public health,
safety, morals and general welfare of the inhabitants of the County of New
1 Hanover, North Carolina, and shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.

AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF ZONING AREA NO. 7
OF NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA
ADOPTED DECEMBER 6, 1971
THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF NEW HANOVER COUNTY DOTH ORDAIN:
Section 1. The Zoning Map of Zoning Area No. 7 is hereby
amended by removing the hereinafter described tract from the R -15
Zoning District Classification and placing it in the I -2
Industrial Zoning District Classification, said land being
parcels 4,4.1, 5, 5.1 and 6, Tax Map 40 -11, Block 002 as
indicated on the County Tax Map; further and collectively
described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being an old axle located
north 26 degrees 35 minutes 43 seconds west 143.56 feet from an
old iron pipe in the northern line of Sampson Street, said old
iron pipe being located 740+ feet northeast of the eastern
right -of -way of Hales Lane, running thence south 88 degrees 24
minutes west 209 feet of an iron pipe; thence north 1 degree 37
minutes west 191+ feet to an iron pipe; thence south 3 degrees 26
minutes west 459.6 feet to a point in the western right -of -way of
Hales Lane; thence 286 feet northwest along the western
right -of -way of Hales Lane; thence North 85 degrees 56 minutes
East 487.7 feet to a point, thence south 3 degrees 26 minutes
west 40 feet to a point; thence north 88 degrees 26 minutes east
209 feet to a point in the southern right -of -way of Flemington
Road, formerly known as Fayetteville Avenue; thence south 1
degree 37 minutes 420.4+ feet to the point and place of
beginning.
Section 2. The County Clerk is hereby authorized and

change the Zoning Map of Zoning Area No. 7 on file in the office

ordinance.
