Harrell Conference Room of the New Hanover County Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina... This session served as the Board's official adjournment date, in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 105 -322 (e) & (f). The purpose of the meeting was to hear appeals by property owners regarding their 2010 tax value assessments. Members present were: Chairman Joseph Szaloky, William J. O'Shea, Donald E. Harris, Deb Quaranta Hays, and Gregory D. Anderson. Staff members present were: Tax Administrator Roger Kelley, Appraiser Jim Paulk, Appraiser Steve Walker, Appraiser Jason Radtke, Appraiser Chris Boney, Appraisal Administrative Support Technician Macio Carlton, Tax Appraisal Clerk Michele Brooks, and Listing Supervisor Deanna Cochran. Chairman Joseph Szaloky called the meeting to order at 1:04 p.m. AGENDA ITEM # 1: Approval of Minutes The Board considered and approved the minutes from their meeting April 13, 2010. AGENDA ITEM # 2: Tax Appeal Presentations The Board heard appeal presentations from the following individuals regarding the 2010 tax assessment of real property. Each appellant was informed that the Board would make decisions following the hearings and they would be notified by mail of the Board's decision in ten days. 1.
