Executive Committee Meeting Minutes

Kevin requested a copy of LEPC by-laws. I emailed him a copy of by-laws, along with activity sheet and membership sheet that has to be sent to NCEM annually.
The executive committee discussed the idea of changing the scheduled meetings to quarterly which would only eliminate one meeting. The LEPC by-laws state that the full committee has
to meet at least quarterly as well as the executive committee.
The proposed quarterly schedule would be as follows:
February 9th Wilmington Fire Department presenting
May 11th Hurricane Preparedness (HR Training Room A)
August 10th
November 9th Hazmat review meeting (EOC reserved for this meeting)
Other topics of discussion:
Creating a membership registration application form for all members to have filled out. This is an attempt to correct our current membership roster as well as designate who the actual
voting members should be. The new form will include the following information:
Organization Name
Facility Description
Member Name
Primary Voting Member and Title
Proxy Voters
Facility Manager Signature
Disclaimer: In the absence of the primary member, only (1) proxy voter will be allowed to vote.
The executive committee discussed briefly about the grant application that Chairperson, Kevin Cowan, had submitted.
We also discussed the duties and responsibilities of the NHC LEPC according to the adopted by-laws. The by-laws will be reviewed and discussed with the full committee.
