Meeting convened @ 9:35a.
Audrey informed group of new bills that were passed as of 10/1/11:
Residents can be discharged without having housing. A discharge to set up to assist with finding
placement.
HB808-
Facilities can appeal deficiency rating,thereby putting any neccesary corrective action on hold until
there is a ruling.
If a facility has a 4 star rating, inspections can be done every 2 years instead of every year.
New Adult Care Home opening:
Hanover House to open 10/17/11; capacity is 61 beds. It is located on Independence near River Rd.
Open house is 10/19 2p-5p with the ribbon cutting @ 3p. This facility is owned by Meridian; same as
Hermitage House.
Home visits reviewed&discussion where needed. Regina&Rhonda to follow up where needed.
