Meeting Minutes
Meeting called to order at 3:00 pm
Members present: Mike Pulley, Eddie Richard & James Shivar (Board members Dale
Sutton & Charles Harrell were unable to attend)
Approval of January 11, 2012 Board Meeting minutes
Reviewed the our normal April applicants & exams, as well as the May apprenticeship
Program applicants & exams ( Mario Garcia III, Adam G. Wayne & Johnny P. Wilson Jr.
were approved for card issuance)
Unfinished business discussed – Bradley Stoebig had previously taken & passed the
journeyman exam in June 2011. At that time it was discovered that he failed to properly
document his experience & fell short of the 8320 minimum hours required for card
issuance. The Board agreed to review his application & exam in the future when he
could provide the proper documented amount of work experience. Mr. Stoebig
provided this documentation for the Board to review at this meeting & the Board
approved Bradley Stoebig for card issuance.
The Board members were also given copies of Chapter 11 – Article IV. – Electrical Code –
of the New Hanover County, North Carolina, Code of Ordinances. The Board will review
this ordinance for possible updates and revisions that would need to be submitted to
the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners for consideration & approval.
