Meeting Minutes
Meeting called to order at 3:00 pm
Members present: Charles Harrell, Mike Pulley & James Shivar (Board members Eddie
Richard & Dale Sutton were unable to attend) – Inspections Manager- Dennis Bordeaux
was also in attendance
Approval of November 15th, 2012 Board Meeting minutes
Reviewed the February applicants & exams (Michael Monaghan, Nathan Freeman were
approved for card issuance)
The Board approved and supports our proposal to implement a new “Wiring Integrity
Test” policy/procedure. This policy would allow the licensed electrical contractor of
record or their New Hanover County journeyman electrician to perform and document
this test. A signed copy of this test would be provided to the electrical code official at
the time of the final electrical inspection. If the written record of the test is not made
available at the time of the final inspection the code official will perform and document
the test.
