Meeting Minutes
Meeting called to order at 3:00 pm
Members present: Eddie Richard, Dale Sutton & James Shivar (Board members Charles
Harrell & Mike Pulley were unable to attend)
Approval of March 12th, 2013 Board Meeting minutes
Reviewed the April applicants & exams, May Apprenticeship Program applicants &
exams, as well as our June applicants & exams (Jody Eason, Michael Lovingood, James
Maples & Donald Thompson were approved for card issuance)
The Board was updated about the implementation of our new “Wiring Integrity Test”
policy/procedure. The N.C. Licensed Electrical contractor or his New Hanover County
Journeyman can now furnish a signed record that the wiring integrity test has been
performed. If the Planning & Inspections Department does not receive a signed copy of
the performed test while on site, staff will continue to perform the test as part of the
final electrical inspection.
