New Hanover County’s Technical Review Committee (TRC) will meet on
Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room 119 (behind the
Aquarium), New Hanover County Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive,
to review the following preliminary site plan:
2:00 p.m. Item 1: Wendover South – Phase 2 (Performance Plan) – Request by
Pyramid Homes, Inc. to consider the division of 3.91 acres into nine (9)
residential lots located near the 7300 block of Darden Road, Middle Sound
Community.

Section one of the project received final plat approval several months ago for 16
single family lots.

Planning Staff Observations
NCDOT Driveway Permit required along with encroachment agreements and
construction plan drawings
Conservation resource Pocosin (WPO) exists on site. However, the resource does
not qualify for preservation since the soils are not Class IV. (Murville & Leon
Class III)
No significant trees exist on site according to the surveyor
Water/Sewer Capacity serving the nine lots will need to be clarified with CFPUA
Several schools in the area are over-capacity
Road inter-connectivity requirements are met
