TECHNICAL REVIEW COMMITTEE AGENDA
JUNE 10, 2015
The New Hanover County Technical Review Committee (TRC) will meet on Wednesday, June 10,
2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lucie Harrell Conference Room (601) of the New Hanover County
Government Center located at 230 Government Center Drive to review the following:
2:00 p.m. Item 1: Rockhill Subdivision (Road Re-Designation) – Request by Design
Solutions for Envoy Holdings, LLC for TRC to consider a change in the road
networkAdesignationAfromA“public”AtoA“private.” The project is located near the
1900 block of Rockhill Road, south side.
Rockhill Subdivision History
Two year preliminary extension granted by TRC in December, 2014 for 37 residential
lots
Conditions were attached to the approved preliminary site plan extension

Plans will include no gates or traffic calming devices as specified in the County Fire
Code.
Additional change to the site plan includes expansion of the road right-of-way of the

Planning Staff Observations
The two Private Road certificates will be required.
Road inter-connectivity will not be obstructed.
Preliminary plan will document that roads are private but for public use.
Language will be included in the HOA docs of road maintenance responsibility.
