Risk Mgmt Advisory Committee Mtg Minutes 2-26-14Risk Management Advisory Meeting Meeting Minutes Time & Place: February 26, 2014 9:00 am New Hanover County Airport Authority 1740 Airport Blvd. Wilmington, NC 28405 Conference Room / 2nd Floor Business: Meet with Board to discuss renewals and for everyone to meet one another since we have new employees, Bonita Carr & Lisa James. Attendance: Committee members and staff in attendance: Jennifer Stancil – Risk Manager Bonita Carr – Risk Management Specialist Lisa James – Risk Management Technician George Chadwick Deborah Watts Ron Woodruff Steve Wells Randy Reeves Jim Morton Order of Business: Risk Manager Jennifer Stancil discussed that since Tiffany left we are getting our bearings together with our new positions. Risk Manager Jennifer Stancil advised that we have started on the renewal process for each entity. We are working on getting renewal applications back to the agents as soon as possible for New Hanover County, CFPUA and the City of Wilmington so that we can try to have some indication by April of the renewal premiums. Risk Manager Jennifer Stancil advised the Board that NCACC has decided to non-renew the property coverage for the Airport for this renewal coming up in July. RFP have been sent off to the local agents and the incumbent agent for both the property and the liability coverage. The deadline for this is February 27th. As soon as the proposals that come in are reviewed a meeting will be scheduled to discuss. Jim Morton with the Airport gave a review of the Airport and gave a tour of the Terminal. Adjournment
