Chairman Frank Jones called the Public Hearing and Formal Budget Adoption to
order at 5:05 p.m. at the NHC Government Complex in the Lucy B. Harrell Board
Room.
ITEM #1 – EXCUSED ABSENCES/ABSENT
EXCUSED: Commissioner Jonathan Barfield, Mayor Bill Blair, LeAnn Pierce,
Mayor Emilie Swearingen
ITEM #2 – PUBLIC HEARING
Chairman Frank Jones opened the public hearing on the formal budget ordinance.
As no one had signed up to speak, the Chairman made a motion to close the public
hearing.
ITEM #3 - ADOPTION OF FY 2016-2017 BUDGET ORDINANCE

Chairman Frank Jones called for the Board’s adoption of the formal budget
ordinance for FY 2016-2017
\[Motion made by Chuck Pennington, seconded by Anne Brodsky and
unanimously carried to adopt the formal budget ordinance for FY 2016-2017
in the amount of $5,314,755. A copy of the ordinance is located in the
Resolution/Ordinance book dated as of March, 2011.\]
There being no further business to come before the Board, motion made to adjourn
the meeting at 5:08 p.m.
