Welcome and Introductions:
The February meeting, held at the Cape Fear Public Utilities’ Nano Plant Facility, was called to order at
approximately 12:02 PM, by the LEPC Chair Kevin Cowan. Meeting minutes for prior meeting were
reviewed and approved. Member introductions completed.

LEPC New Business:
o NHC Commissioners appointed Warren Lee as Liaison to Board of Commissioners
o Charles Smith, Elizabeth Bailey and Diane Harvell volunteered to work on
Education and Public Awareness Committee
o Emergency Planning Committee consists of:

Eric Hatchell
Alan Turner
Mike Alexander
Emily Conner
The Emergency Planning Committee will review the HazMat portion of the EOP.
Meeting schedule will be May 9, Aug 8 and Nov 14 (moved from 7th)
