NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Notice is hereby given that the New Hanover County Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold
public hearings on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 5:30 p.m., at the New Hanover County
Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive, Lucie Harrell Meeting Room, Wilmington,
North Carolina, to consider the following:
Case ZBA-915 – Big V Properties, LLC, applicant, on behalf of BVC Myrtle Grove LLC, property
owner, is requesting variances to the sign area and height allowances per Section 94-4(C) of the
New Hanover County Zoning Ordinance. The property is located at the 5500 block of Carolina
Beach Road.
Case ZBA-916 – Design Solutions, applicant, on behalf of Camilla L. Downing et al, property
owner, is requesting a variance to the minimum district size of 5 acres for B-2, Highway Business
Zoning District per Section 52.2-1 of the New Hanover County Zoning Ordinance. The property is
located at 4822 Carolina Beach Road.

to the public. Persons with standing may give evidence and sworn testimony.
