New Hanover County’s Technical Review Committee (TRC) will meet Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 2:00
p.m. in the Lucie Harrell Conference Room (601) of the New Hanover County Government Center
located at 230 Government Center Drive to review the following item:
2:00 p.m. Item 1: Robert J. Kerr Division & R/W Dedication (Conventional Plan) – Request by
Hanover Design Services, PA on behalf of Robert J . Kerr heirs for TRC to consider
preliminary plan approval of a 5 lot division and dedication of a portion of the Angus Drive
right-of-way located near the western end of Chair Road, south side.

Request
Angus Drive is an unimproved road that serves access to a number of residential
lots/homes. Historically, there have been a number of efforts to legally dedicate and plat
road right-of-way to divide several large acre tracts that abut the road. Adjoining resident
disagreement has tempered the request to dedicate right -of-way along with provid ing
and creating a road maintenance agreement.
The Robert J. Kerr family heirs have requested that TRC consider their request to dedicate
and record a legal road right-of-way (45’) on a portion of Angus Drive and provide an all -
weather surface access with necessary drainage and a road maintenance agreement (see
attached) in order to divide the property.
